A brief text message from Gavin says "Llanberis to Fort William via Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in 47hrs 43mins including enforced 24 hour delay in the Lakes. Ho hum".
If you didn't know they were attempting to run up the 3 highest summits in Wales, England & Scotland, connecting them by bike and train. Gavin was spotted in the lakes where we learned that they had missed a connection, hence the loss of 24 hours.
