Latest information from Tom, including the rote follows:

The distance is about 14.5miles or as Andy would say “a long 10”.  The winner will do it under 5 and the rest of us a wee bit over arguably!!.  Everybody is requested to have a think about their own route & escape lines in case of injury and kit, again with potential injury or emergency in mind, as there is no support or manned check points.  Amongst standard FRA kit a bivvy bag would be a good idea together with dry kit for the finish and tea money for the café and where appropriate the train back to Sheffield.  It is a race but more importantly it is hoped it will be a good testing day out in “our” hills.  Any questions please use any means of communication to get in touch with me.
