A delayed report – the webmaster mislaid it – from Kirsty:
Excellent run by all the Dark Peak Ladies to win the Ladies title after dominating the race from the start!
Lizzie ran a solid first leg to finish 2nd just behind Keswick and clear of the other ladies teams. Pippa & Liz then had a storming run to overtake Keswick, taking the lead with Calder Valley moving into 2nd 2 min down. Rachel & Kirsty then enjoyed a challenging navigation leg through the pea soup with teams heading in all directions! One slight mistake but luckily no sign of any other ladies teams and Dark Peak\’s lead increased to 6 mins. Karen then ran well, despite a few interesting routes, and brought the team home safely in first position. Fantastic result- well done to everyone.
