Dent is a scenic, cobbled Yorkshire Dales village, and their annual showground made a good venue for this English Championship race. Out of the field, a bit of road then a long climb up the hill, round the trig, and hurtle back down again. A worthy AS course. Lloyd was 1st in his new V40 category, Matt Speake not far behind as 5th. Mike Egner was 5th V50. As hoped, the teams were out strong. Provisionally the Seniors were 1st : V40’s 2nd, behind Borrowdale, and the V50’s were 1st. So everything to try for at the final event – Langdale.
