Congatulations to Ianm Fitzpatrick for this:- "Ian set off yesterday evening at 6pm from the road off Cnict (near Aberglasyn) on his Paddy Buckley attempt. I met him at Rhyd Ddu off the first leg which apparently was very fast (Martyn and Helen were supporting and they had gained 30 minutes) suppported him across Snowdon with Matt where he was going strong and was very chatty but not pushing the pace too much. We were however 1 hour up on his schedule (23.45 hours) when we reached Llanberis. He continued on with Roy Gibson and another(?) across the Glyders. On reaching Llyn Ogwen he had maintained the pace to stay 1 hour up but was feeling queasy. Across the Carnedds he was in good hands with Bob Berzins, Ian Winterburn and Sam and arrived at Capel still 1 hour up. The heat was getting up but Ian still managed to push on and take another 30 minutes off the schedule by the finish to complete in 22.15.An excellent effort. " – Nicky.
