The first English Championship event this year, and good running conditions up Pendle Hill. Clear, so no route finding problems, and soft ground with plenty of give. They coped very well with the large entry, well organised. Lloyd was 4th, Mike Egner 3rd V50, but a very strong turnout from the men to get our teams well up. The Seniorswere 3rdbehind a very strong Pudsey set, then Bingley. Bingley Vets were ahead of our V40’s, and the threat of a big Clayton V50 team was fulfilled, wewere 2nd in both Vets.
