News just in of the first Dark Peak completion of the new SDC Cumbrian Traverse – the high level route from Dunnerdale to Derwent by Dave Lockwood, Dick Pasley, Alison Shepherd and Alan Yates on Saturday 22nd July 2006. 21 Summits, 50k and 4000M in 12 Hrs 49 mins. Two road crossing support points by Colin Henson and Roy Clarke were greatly appreciated on a very hot day.
