As some of you may be aware I\’m attempting (with three friends) to climb / trek up Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa\’s highest @19,300 feet) in October. We are hoping to complete the climb /descent in 6 days and in the process raise £8,000 (£2,000 each) for Neurocare.
Neurocare is a local based charity which raises money for the neurosciences department at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. The charity buys equipment to save and improve the lives of patients with a range of debilitating neurological conditions, including brain tumours, strokes, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson\’s disease, Motor Neurone disease and Epilepsy.
