I can recommend the weekly 09:30 Sunday Social runs that coincide with the Juniors outings each week during term time. Next Sunday’s(16th October) will be from Mortimer Road, a mile or two beyond The Strines Inn and from where the Hunter Wreck race starts. Details in the Calendar.

Hodgson Brothers relays – All three DPFR teams: Men’s open, Women’s open and Men’s Vets were 3rd. Bring on the FRA relays on Saturday! Results

Hunter Wreck Race – It was good to see 22 runners turning out for this classic Dark Peak race. Tom Saville is rumoured to have lowered his own course record and the first five finishers were all comfortably below the hour mark. Results
Langdale Horseshoe – The final English Championship race of the year the final standings for which will take a bit of sifting. A couple of notable runs from Majka Kunicka, who was the 4th woman to finish and the 1st W40, and John Hunt who was 3rd M55. The DPFR women’s team (Majka, Sally Fawcett and Beth Nadin) were 2nd.
