The 8th Hope Valley Mountain Bike Challenge will take place on Saturday 27th September 2008. Registration for this event will take place at Hope Valley College in Hope (next to Poachers Arms). Parking is available. Please arrive in plenty of time to get to the start which is located 2 miles away in Shatton (as in previous years). We aim to start at 9.30am. The finish will be at Hope Valley College.
As before, the two routes of approximately 20 and 38 miles are predominantly off road and demanding. Bikes must be in good order, in particular good brakes are essential.
The event is held in aid of Hathersage Primary School and Hope Valley College. It will be marshalled with 3 main checkpoints with drinks and refreshments available.
