Congratulations to Finlay Grant who finished second, three seconds behind the winner at Coniston last weekend. This is rumoured to have been Finlay’s first outing in a brown vest.

Buttermere Sailbeck – Chet Gillespie 6^th and 1^st MU23, Jenny Caddick 2^nd W50 and, together with Eleanor and Alison Wainwright, 2^nd women’s team. Also of note was Willy Kitchen’s long awaited return to Lakeland racing, who claims to be “1^st arthritic Dark Peak diabetic”! Results

British Inter Counties Mountain Running Championships – Rumour has it that Finlay Grant was 1^st MU23 and that the Yorkshire men’s team, including Alex Mason, are champions.
