As reported elsewhere, Andy Harmer is stepping back from organising the majority of the club races that he has been putting on for almost four decades and is thereby leaving a very large pair of 8-1/2 Mudclaws to be filled! Some of these excellent races have already been taken on by new Race Officers but it would be good if a couple more folk were to contact Andy to take on the remainder. On the subject of folk who have organised hundreds of races over many years, Nicky Spinks completed her move to Scotland this week and it’s an understatement to say that we all owe Andy and Nicky a huge debt of gratitude for their race organising efforts over many years.

Dave Taylor provides high quality training sessions for the senior members of the club on a weekly basis. Although this is Dave’s job, he declines to take money for the sessions. Those regular participants of these Tuesday coaching sessions may wish to note that Dave does have a Patreon page, where you can set up a regular donation to find the answers to his online navigation challenges. https://www.patreon.com/fellrunningguide/posts
