Congratulations to Lisa Watson who was first woman and 7th overall to complete the Northern Traverse in 52:52:57, thereby taking a whopping 10 hours off the course record. The race follows the Coast to Coast path from St. Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay and involves about 192 miles and 20,000 feet of ascent. A fine effort too by Sophie Littlefair who was 5th in 65:16:45.

Past events

Chicken Run – Josh Williams 4th. Results.

Mourne Seven Sevens – Finlay Wild of Lochaber broke the course record to win the first of the four British Championship races races by a wide margin, with Victoria Thompson of Helm Hill winning the women’s race. There were a dozen Brown Vests in the field and some notable performances. Oli Johnson was 1st M40 and 9th overall with Pete Davies 4th M40. We had strength in depth in the M50’s with Mike Robinson 2nd, Dave Taylor 3rd and Jon Morgan 7th. Keith Holmes was 5th M60. In the women’s race Rachel Thorley and Helen Elmore were 7th and 8th overall with Helen winning the F50’s. Rumour has it that the DPFR M40 and M50 teams both won. Congratulations to all concerned! Results.
