Tigger Tor – As ever, there was a healthy DPFR presence at Tigger Tor this year. Oli Johnson and Sally Fawcett won their respective V40 categories, but run of the day was undoubtedly by Juliet Downs who won a sprint finish to win the women’s race.
Margery Hill – Hard going in the conditions and Strava reveals that several folk wisely bailed. Comments included: “A proper challenging fell race in severe conditions”. “At times could hardly stand up let alone run”. “Then the hypothermia really set in”. Tom Brunt’s rumoured time of 2 hours and a couple of minutes is impressive and Al Ward’s long standing 1:45 course record is awesome! Results pending.
