Congratulations to Roger Baumeister and his team of helpers who came up with an excellent route for the Club’s Championship Race that featured plenty of running, some good honest heather bashing, a couple of eyeballs out climbs and a classic Pertex Trophy winning performance.
Missing the second checkpoint once was unfortunate, missing it twice was beautiful.
Jonny Crickmore and Megan Wilson were the winners with Euan Patton (MU23), Helen Elmore (W40), Tom Brunt (M40), Simon Patton (M50), Kirsty Bryan-Jones (W50), Tim Tett (M60) and Peter Gorvett (M70) all winning their respective age categories. Adam Samuel and Lisa Watson were the handicap winners. Results.
