Dot watchers have enjoyed following the progress of Sally Fawcett and Lisa Watson who have spent the last eight days running the Cape Wrath Ultra. Having started in Fort William last Sunday, they’ll finish at Cape Wrath later today having covered +/-248 miles of the Northwest Highlands and need only stay on their feet to finish first and second women.

The English Championships are taking shape after 4 of the 6 races. Runners in the top 10 of their category are:

FV55 Jane Crowson 8th
MV55 John Hunt 2nd
MV65 Keith Holmes 3rd
MV70 Dave Tait 3rd and Ken Jones 6th

Kentmere Horseshoe – was the fourth of the six counters for the English Championship. Jonny Crickmore, in 22nd place, was first brown vest back. In the age categories top ten finishers were: Will Carter – 4th MU23, Alex Mason – 8th MU23, Pete Davies – 3rd M40, Jane Crowson – 4th F55, John Hunt – 2nd M55, Keith Holmes – 6th M65, Dave Tait – 4th M70 and Ken Jones – 8th M70.
