a reminder that this occasion will be marked on Thursday July 31 by a revival run of the \’not the national\’ cross-country course. Gather at The Cobden View pub (6.15-ish)or go straight to \’the tree\’ in Rivelin (down the path from Benders Corner on Long Lane, below Clough Field stables)for the 6.45 start.
The course will be marked, for the benefit of those too young to remember its intricacies.
Scran, ales, debriefing and award of the Ron Hayman sausage garland will be on offer afterwards in The Cobden View, from about 8 pm.
