To weekend of 5th / 6th December

From Wednesday 2^nd December, both Sheffield and Derbyshire Dales will be in the “Tier 3: Very High Alert” band. My interpretation of the regulations is that running in a group of up to 6 will be permitted, so long as social distancing is maintained. UPDATE: Wednesday runs from The Sportsman will recommence this week.

Upcoming events:

Until Sunday 6^th December – Edale Circle TT. This is the first of the Winter TT’s and is highly recommended. I was right, the climb to Lord’s Seat is still a brute. To date, at least two folk have gone round in under two hours without threatening Dave Taylor’s record. However, Majka Kunicka came close to breaking Karen Dalton’s long standing record. Hopefully she’ll run again and complete the job.

Sunday 6^th December – Juniors – Whitely Woods. To be confirmed.

Trigger – Is in the process of being re-scheduled for Sunday 7^th February and it remains to be seen whether or not the race can take place. Entries are being taken here.
