The Sprunce Race 14 was contested by 23 runners, quite a few of whom ran the other way round hoping to determine which way was quicker. However, a week of mostly wet weather resulted in notably slower going so the jury is out. The fastest times of the week were set by Pete Davies (36:43) and Sally Fawcett (44:48) with the ever improving Tim Mackey winning the handicap from Ken Jones. Ken is threatening to run Race 15 in new shorts which he is certain will be faster!
