Race 12 of the Sprunce, the last running of Route 3, featured a fast Sprunce debut by Rupert Allison (30:11), a strong run from Tim Mackey and a wide margin handicap win by the ever improving John Webber. Each week I wait with bated breath for Ken Jones’s race report of his occasional triumph, tales of woe or, as was the case this week, an original excuse… Ken’s time was a second slower that he ran last week and is of the opinion that “someone may have moved the club hut back a bit”!
Race 13, over the new Route 4 is open and it can be run in either direction. Details in the Calendar.
