Tour of Pendle:- one of the more lenient Pendle days, as the early rain faded away, even the mist cleared. Prizes were done by the time I managed to return, so not a clue as to what resulted. At least it wasn’t one of us with a number on the back of a rucsac…..Results.

Litton Birks Loop – an absolute gem, up Wharfedale. And indeed a real gem. Start up the limestone slippery stuff, higher up into gritstone slippery stuff, around the top on a peaty squelching wander around somewhere, get down without crashing, and retire to the pub. Just some pity it’s a bit away from Peakland.. .Results.
