We know of two local areas with restrictions this May & June, Langsett Moors and Moscar/Bamford/Stanage Moors. To save you the effort of negotiating the Open Access website, which I found a trial, here are the maps – – click on the maps to download as a pdf with details of closure dates:

The maps shows no public access shaded solid pink, with dates, from 15/05/2008 to 13/06/2008 for Moscar Moors and 15/05/2008 to 6/6/2008 for Langsett Moors, open some weekends and bank holiday.
Areas with hatched shading, plus the two moors above have a 12 month of the year ban on dogs.
