Mike Robinson sends:- “Denise Mathers has contacted me asking for help on a forthcoming Bob Graham attempt by 4 Irish guys. These people are all involved with the Irish Championship Races many of us enjoy each year. Basically they need help on legs 2, 3 and 4. The downside is that it is the Wasdale race weekend 8th/9th July, when they want to make an attempt. They will be leaving Keswick at 18.30 on Friday 7th July, leg 2 approx. 22.30, leg 3 – 03.00 and leg 4 – 09.00. Wharfedale 2 – or 3 – Peaks:- from Kettlewell, rather like Grin and Bear It . A Mountain Rescue fundraiser. A bit cold and blustery over Buckden Pike, and finally the never-ending search for the best line off Great Whernside to Hag Dyke – and still none the wiser. Only two peaks for poor Carshare….
