Following #6 at Yetholm six weeks ago, the ageless Mr Rimmer has snuck into top slot in the league, with Carshare lurking in third place.  Young Mr Holmes (Keith) has been at repeated pains, ever since, to point out that he won the team prize on the day, hosting Messrs Morgan and Little (and possibly a.n. other?) in his one-stroke vehicle.  Final confirmation of the full detail would be appreciated.

Next up on Sunday 21st July is #7 Coniston Country Fair, 6 miles and 2400ft, plus all manner of other distractions to keep all the family entertained. Full details and checkpoints here.

Good luck, one and all.  Sadly I’ll be missing this one (and probably #8 too), on this occasion due to the venerable Paxman and disreputable Holmes’s joint Ramsey shindig in Bonnie Scotland.

A reminder also that #8, the Burnsall Classic, will be going ahead as originally trailed on Saturday 24th August; notwithstanding an unfortunate clash with Thornbridge.  As DT would no doubt attest, it’s just too good a race to ditch.
