About 25 runners ( this is as accurate as it gets on a Warts night ) turned up on this cold clear night for an interesting run incorporating a three decent climbs, tracks and historical industrial heritage tour through a large quarry and very little road work, unless you went the wrong way!

All retired to the local Pub, The Moon Inn, where the landlord and landlady, Rob and Suzanne had prepared a banquet of Home made pies (as she could not get any prepared pies from her suppliers), two each in fact, chips and peas ( mushy or garden).

Quantities of decent ale were also consumed, especially by the three of us who were staying in the Hut. The hut proved to be warm and cosy providing us with a good night’s kip.

Thanks to all those that turned up.
