Carshare is now home from sunny Zurich, but sadly without a Swiss posh watch, not even a cuckoo clock…
Parkruns – I’ve only done the Harrogate run, very impressed by the whole set-up everywhere. Not sure I’ll be too keen on the Camp Bastion Parkrun. I see that the weekend’s Huddersfield run was won by a young Lady, 15-19, Jennifer Walsh, with a score of 89.10. Any of us remotely near that score?
FRA Relays. The maps for Legs 1, 2 and 4 have been made available. Legs 1 and 4 being the same, just in different directions. Those who knowthe Long Mynd Valleys race will recognise the area well. And these are big, steep climbs, well worth a recce if possible.
An extra Team? 200 limit, 168 teams entered. There could be a thought of a “C” team – Men, Ladies or Mixed, of anyone willing to travel, and organise it – though there is Langdale on the same weekend…This would need to be completely apart from the present team organisers, and probably a lot too much hassle for everyone?

“The Lakeland Classic Trophy is coming home again to DPFR. We pushed on and nailed it at Three Shires turning out and doing the necessary. By my calculations I think we’re now uncatchable and therefore champs”

Many will remember Andy Middleditch, now resident in New Zealand….
