Edale Skyline.
Blakey Blitz. – Carshare had a plod around this, never done it, from the Lion Inn, somewhere in the middle of the N Y Moors. 10ml, 2600ft. This was one of the better N Y Moors courses. A big downhill start, so not hard to work out what the finish was like. Three hard climbs on the race, and with good weather, a lovely place to be running. Like everywhere, very dry peat. The visit to Great Fryup Dale never provided the hoped for bacon butties, sadly.
BUT – guess who finished a very strong 4th? No, not Carshare…as if….
