Youth Hostel booked …Phil has, as usual, booked the Youth Hostel in Newcastle. “now reached the allocated 13 spaces , so if people want to come now, they should contact the hostel direct. There might be rooms, but Calder Valley and Cheshire Hillbillies have taken most of the rest (if not all). All the people who asked for a space have one.”
The British Championship race this year is Slieve Bearnagh, as usual in the Mourne Mountains. Although it is classed as short, there’s enough hard running to justify going over, and the whole weekend is superb. Much later this year, Saturday 12th May. Even if you don’t want to complete the series, totally recommended.
Nearer the time I’ll sort out a map, slightly different course this year…
