Congratulations to you all!! It was certainly some of the worst weather conditions that I can remember. I\’ve had a letter from someone two weeks later saying that he\’d almost dried out! We\’ve been following stories on the fellrunner\’s forum with interest and amazement. Its surprises us that you all seem to have enjoyed it despite the horrendous conditions. The suggestion of the race being renamed \’Tanky\’s Triathlon\’ may be appropriate!
I\’d like to thank the Mountain Rescue Teams who were strategically placed along the route and The Dark Peak Fell Runners for their help to access the race details. For those who were not able to stay for the prize giving, I did thank all the many helpers that turn out year after year, up to, during and after the event. Apologies if you left before the prize giving, however we schedule to do this around 2.15. The time varies due to circumstances surrounding the events as the race progresses.
All the best for Christmas and the New Year and hope to see you all again next year. Entries for 2008 will appear on this website.
