Children’s Running Shoes:- Can anyone help? Ian is “trying to encourage Amelia(daughter) to do some small runs with me but all she’s got are some built up road shoes. Can you ask if any ones got some old Walshes or Mudclaws they’ve finished with size 6-6.5, there’s no point buying any as she might not like it and her feet are still growing , I’m ever hopeful. e-mail ”

Saturday – Ireland . Mourne Peaks - results . “Dark Peak was 3rd senior and 3rd vet team (Borrowdale 1st & Calder V 2nd in both) – without Lloyd who could not run due to an allergic reaction the day before caused by a pain killer. Also Jackie had a fall near the finish and was helicoptered off – she is OK though. “

Thanks to everyone for running, next is Wales, Yr Aran, near Bala. An out and back course, apparently a fence line to follow along a ridge, but still needing care if the clag is down…Might well be a fast finish..
