Passing Clouds – results. “Another impressive DPFR turnout with brown vests aplenty scattered throughout the field. Dave Taylor impressed being first back, with Mick Stenton not far behind in 4th? Dave Sykes was next counter in about 17th and I followed in 20th. Ian Winterburn was a few places later, followed by Keith Holmes. There were others, including my carshare Jon Heathfield. Think we should have taken the Team prize, looking down the list, whether it was first 3 or 4 to count, in view of Dave T and Mick’s fine efforts at the sharp end. As usual of races in this area, it involved a bit of everything including the traditional farmyard “poo” wade on the way out and on the return, a stretch of bog-trotting, a relentless climb onto the Roaches -but rewarded by stunning views from the top. A couple of tricky descents and a bit of XC. Roaches next, which includes the ascent of the North face of Shutlingsloe
and an even muddier farmyard………….” - Martin Stocks.

Of course, everyone wishes them well, but we beat their Bingley in the Relays, so who ought to front up the Sheffield Phone Book?
