Ian Hodgson Relay:- Results with Splits. Ladies – 1st . Men – 3rd . Vets – 1st. Three very strong results, not too many clubs had the results in all three categories. Very good conditions, clear, only a bit slippy, and only occasional passing showers. Borrowdale Seniors held onto their reputation in this event, with a new record. Amongst such strength, 3rd was a good result. A new Men’s record, though we already held it…And an excellent Ladies Team….
Details will come from those more in the know. Many congratulations to everyone concerned.
(hopefully Totley’s Leg 3 pairing will remain untold…)

Hope Moors and Tors. results and here are some photos.and more also here.
Grin and Bear It – results . Is Health and Safety kicking in, with extra precautions by the organisers? Fancy flagging the diversion around the Bog Monster’s Lair. Surely the nearby marshal could have had a winch at hand? Poor monster, he’ll be upset and lonely.
Extremely windy, but fortunately the rain held off, going across Outer Edge into driving rain would have been serious indeed. Not really too cold, just very hard effort across the wild and windy moors.
Woodhead MR put on a right good effort, in very difficult circumstances. Andy Beanland was first, then Mick Stenton. Other placings will await the results.
Mid next Week – These recent rains will have rejuvenated the Bog Monster, gearing up for the Watershed?
Lakeland Classics:- We’ve been second so many times, winning this is some huge achievement. Congratulations to everyone in any way involved. So are Borrowdale on the wane? (I’m not thinking so, though Pudsey have taken both Championships…). IH Relay result could be interesting, traditionally Borrowdale at their best.
I’ll look out for Lakeland Classic results…

Does anyone want – a good pair of size 10 rock climbing boots, brought back from Germany. Plenty of rubber left on the toes, they just need a good home. No money, of course.
