Turnslack.- From Summit, above Littleborough. A course for us lot to feel at home on. Rather surprised that Andy Harmer hadn’t devised it – a shortened Margery Hill. Forever tussocks and the likes, pathless steep drops, steep climbs, round a few reservoirs, and hope there’s no clag else we’d be all over the place. A unique prize giving – in the church, where the local ladies had excelled with tea and cakes

.BOFRA Cracoe Fell : As good an AS race as they come. Cracoe is near Grassington. We all line up across a field, and keep going up, then more up. The first wall involved climbing up onto a cart, and leaping over, the second wall cracoe-16 was a straight climb over. If anyone knows the area, it’s round Cracoe Obelisk, along to Rylstone Cross, then a fiddle round and back the same way. Worth looking at the calendar to see whether any visits can be squeezed in. And if Wharfedale runners can make Stoney Middleton, vice versa?
Many will be so pleased to hear good news of Ken Taylor. All is extremely hopeful, he was on the fell, and moaning about a bad shoulder, having come a cropper off his bike…

Gritstone Tryal – Robin Hood – DPFR results are out.
