Dufton. Judith is back home, apparently no serious repercussions, and all seems well.
Men’s ResultsLadies Results. A worthy short Championship course. No bottlenecks as we went across heavy gradually rising fields out to Dufton Pike. A track round the back, but then a genuine hard climb up the hill, and a shifting rabbit-holed drop back down to the fields.
Everything is decided, but best to wait for the Statistician.
Seniors – must be ahead of Ambleside , so that is 3rd English and 3rd British (behind Pudsey and Borrowdale.
Vet40’s – probably 2nd English (behind Borrowdale on Countback) and 2nd British.
Vet 50’s – were 1st today, marginally ahead of Clayton, then CFR. We’re equal on points with CFR, far beyond my intelligence to decide further…and very pleased for our Clayton friends, 3rd.

Tom was first U23 today, and hopefully 1st Overall?

Rob Little was first home, 10th, Mike – 3rd V50, DT – 3rd V60.
I’ll put out final Championship placings when they appear officially.

Thanks to everyone who’s supported the Club Teams throughout a long hard year….and First Prize for the Party Cake Competition most definitely goes to the Egner Bakery Trio….(wish I’d taken a photo)

Ragleth – Church Stretton:- Pete Tapping “found this race on the Long Mynd when away for a few days. 4 miles 1237 feet ascent – new route apparently. All off road on heather and gorse moors. 2 long climbs, a very steep descent. Lovely evening run on soft grass. No other brown vests to be seen!
