Wirksworth Incline Results
Hawkshead Trail Results:-     with a huge entry, you’ll have to let me know if you were involved….

Anniversary Waltz Full Results:- “Good clear day for a great route, blowing strongly from the east which made the descents seem faster as you could lean into the wind. As always great food after, Lloyd 1st  someone else might have some results but I think they should be on the event website soon.” – thanks, Trevor.

Moel Eilio:- I had a Wednesday trot round, warm and sunny, but snow on the higher hills. I’ll put route notes up sometime, but it’s not hard to get round. Once on the fell, clear paths, a fence up to Moel Eilio, paths along the next tops. The Fellrunner suggested problems off Foel Goch, but a bearing brings a clear descent path. The only problem is finding the right line off Cynghorion (as for Peris Horseshoe) through that bog at the bottom, and whoever knows the exact line will be keeping that a tight secret. Then a long blast back home.

Moelwyn Three Peaks:-  News from John Boyle:- “Alan Ward, his mate Michal Alexander and myself travelled to Moelwyn. The 2hr 45min journey was well worth it & we were rewarded with a great mountain race run in clear, breezy and cold conditions. Remarkably we were not the only Dark Peakers there as we met Kenny (Turner?)  from Crystal Peaks on the start line. No results out yet but I think Alan was 6th or 7th and I was 11th, Kenny (i’m not sure sorry – maybe he can update us if he stayed for the results). Great free food (Big thick Meat stew, a brew, sarnnies & cake) and grand Welsh hospitality . The race route had plenty of support on it & was extremely well marshalled and the locals turned out in force. There is even a video of part of the race to watch if you visit the Eryri Harriers web site (google it)”
