Wadsworth Trog Results:- Most unusual conditions for the race – hot! A need to find water to quench the thirst. Clear and easy to find the way, but extremely heavy underfoot, and some very difficult going. Despite this, an excellent new record by Karl Gray, improving his previous time by 4 minutes, finishing 9 minutes ahead of Ian Holmes. Joe was 7th, Roy 45th, and a strong, welcome return by Matt, 46th. This is another of the recommended full value events, extremely well organised, well marshalled, with free soup, cake, sandwiches, biscuits, tea at the finish. Something given back to every runner.
Apologies to the First Lady, forlornly awaiting her trophy – therein lies some gossip….
Hopefully any profit from the race can be used on music lessons for the Phantom Trumpeter lurking at Sheepstones Trig Point…….
