Hope you can advise me on a few things. I am very interested in taking part in the Edale Sky Line 2008 race.I have in the last 18 months enjoyed my new found hobby of off road running.Unfortunately i work shifts, i am a non-driver and there does not appear to be any local fell running clubs available to me. As a result of these circumstances i do most of my running on my own. I currently will run anything from 8 to 14 miles but this i think you would call cross country rather than actual fell running.I am very keen on the edale run as i have been hiking in the area for the last ten years on a regular basis and know all the cloughs like a second home. I was wondering whether it would be possible to join you for the run from Edale on the 6th Jan 08 (Moz’s birthday run). And also to ask if there are any members of your club from the Stockport Area who could offer me a lift to your meetings as i would very much like to join.
