Kris is looking for volunteers to help out with the Longshaw Sheepdog Trials Fell Race on Saturday 31st August. Helpers are needed for the usual roles (registration, marshaling, sweep, finish line, results). Race details including route map available at (https://www.dpfr.org.uk/pages/view/longshaw-sheepdog-trials). If you have a particular role or marshaling spot in mind then please get in touch! You can either drop Kris a line at (k.m.groom@sheffield.ac.uk) or via Facebook etc with your preferred role (if any). All volunteers, old hands and new blood, are most welcome. Note that volunteers and their families don’t need to pay to enter the Trials field and there will be a bar serving real ale. Participants are also required, so once we have enough volunteers then perhaps consider racing instead!
