The last two Saturdays have seen back to back races in the Carshare League. On Saturday 7th April, 16 club members ran Coledale Horseshoe. With his 4th place finish, Rhys Findlay-Robinson consolidated his position at the top of the Carshare League, with Mike Robinson hot on his heels. Then on Saturday 14th April, Mourne Highline doubled as both the first British Championship race of the year and, more importantly, the fourth Carshare League race of 2018 with 15 Dark Peak Fell Runners crossing the water for the race. After a fine 2nd place finish, Rhys has not only made a very strong start to the British Championship but, after only 4 of the 12 races, will now take an lot of catching in the Carshare League. 31 club members including 7 women have now contested at least 1 Carshare League race this year. It’s your best 5 races out of the 12 in the series that count. Next up is Helvellyn and the Dodds on Sunday 27th May. Pre-entry http://www.fabian4.co.uk £10. Entry on the Day is £12.
