Starting on 17th August, Mark Chapman and Bill Edwards attempted a BG in rain, low visibility and wet rock. Bill overcame the conditions to finish with 19 minutes to spare, but after losing 2 hours in a big bog on the Scafell section Mark\’s knees decided to give in and he called it a day after 16 hours.
