Seven down and thirty-three to go; just waiting for the paper results for Rivelin Landmarks and Mam Tor to find their way to the webmaster so we can get the league updated.
Please find below the current running order for the league – from which you’ll see we now have a full house of 40, assuming all those ROs who’ve not yet confirmed are happy to include their race(s). We’ve a couple of other possibilities in reserve in the event anything changes … and are hearing rumours that Pete Gorvett may yet be putting on a running of the LIMM. Let’s hope so.
For those of you relatively new to the club, please note that many of these races are extremely tough fell running challenges, requiring hill skills, the right kit for the conditions, and the ability to point your compass in the right direction (to get yourself safely off the hill, if not necessarily to navigate successfully between all checkpoints). You are strongly encouraged to check the individual race listings in the calendar before deciding which races to attempt/what kit to take etc.
Next up on Easter Saturday will be Moz’s anniversary mash-up of the original Terminator route, starting and finishing from the Sportsman.
