We have emailed all members for whom we have an email address about the next issue of the Dark Peak Newsletter, but inevitably some of these emails find themselves lost in cyberspace, so here is the content of the email:
Dear Member,
We hope you enjoyed the last Newsletter – a combined effort by the 3 editors (Alan, Ann and Tim T) and our Print Master Tim Mackey, allowed us to get out something not too dissimilar to previous editions.
As is always the case with such things, we are reliant on the membership for material and we are therefore (1) letting you know when the next copy date is (31st August) and (2) asking for copy. So if you think your fellow members would appreciate hearing from your exploits on (or off) the fells over the past couple of months, or indeed over the coming month, please put pen to paper and send us something. It could be anything – race reviews, solo adventures/challenges, team races, kit reviews, etc.
If you have any interesting photos please send them in at a high resolution (watch out for email clients reducing the quality).
