Just a brief heads up for PFPR’s 7 mile and 890 foot ‘multi-terrain race’ in aid of ‘Save Penistone Leisure Centre’. Whoever said sport and politics don’t mix? A ‘… tough race on tarmac, trails and paths, with hills and stunning views of the Penistone area, run under UK Athletic’s rules’ … and as such not, I’m afraid, a qualifier for the Local League (or a Calendar listing).
