End of the month for the first Winter Mondays race of the season, with training sessions every other week to work on your speed on the hills. All on tarmac, but if it’s good enough for Messrs Walker, Holmes and Spinks, then it’s good enough for me. With Keith smarting from his navigational faux pas at the last Summer Series race, the Spinks cranking up the speed for more feats of derring do next year, and Mr-Chairman-Sir apparently experiencing a running renaissance in the autumn of his years, it’s all set for another tense winter around Bolsterstone way, regardless of whether Stuart’s back again to trash all our bonus scores. Whether that makes any sense to you or not, you’d be well advised to get along to see for/remind yourself what it’s all about. Just about as much winter fun as you can have with your lycra on. Full race listings here and on the Calendar … note also that the first race this year is the route from Low Bradfield.
