Many congratulations to Bernie Burke, Martha Hart, Dale Mathers (Northern Ireland), Laurence Piercy and Tim Rippon, who all successfully battled the rather hostile elements to complete the BG this weekend in times between about 22.50 and 23.50. Thanks are due, as ever, to the sterling road support (this year provided by John Brownell and Lucy Wiegand), and to MC Hakes, who will no doubt be along with full details in due course. The event should not pass without noting also the very impressive Saturday night shift put in in the Royal Oak in Braithwaite by a full house of contenders.
