For those running at Ennerdale (anyone interested in carsharing with Willy and probably Tom, calendar@dpfr.org.uk) and/or going on to Dave’s 40th birthday bash on Saturday evening (as we plan to), Dave writes:

We have been allocated our own field at Turner Hall Campsite. To
get here unless driving from the north it is easiest to come along the
A590 from just south of Kendal, following signs to Broughton and then
turning R up the Duddon valley at the Duddon bridge traffic lights. The
campsite is 500m past the pub on the right.

Go up the drive
and go through the gate that is straight ahead (marked for large
vehicles) rather than continuing up the drive. The track flattens out
after the gate and ahead of you is a fence with another gate in it. Go
thru this rather than continuing round up the track – this is our field.
We will probably be to the left behind a slight bluff.
As for the BBQ we will provide basics + some beer but please bring something else as well especially if you are going
to be hungry.

Looking forward to seeing you all
