\n\tOver the weekend Tim and Stephen Martin teamed up again under the DP banner to take the overall win in the 15th Setenta Rogaine in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. This is a very long (24hr) orienteering event i.e. a 24hr mountain marathon score event, so no tent or sleeping bag to carry but lots of food.<\/p>\n
\n\tThick mist and rain did make the navigation tricky, especially when finding a 3m boulder at night on a barren hillside. It was about 1hr between controls. The ground was truly (AHH!) Andy Harmer Heaven, always bog with either tussocks, bracken, dense forest, holes or with added bog. Maybe a report to follow just in case anyone in DP wants a go next year, as I am sure there must be loads of takers!<\/p>\n
