However I have been sent information about the Jack Bloor Fund, about which you may be less familiar, brief details of which below:<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>The Jack Bloor Fund is available to<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color: rgb(255, 0, 0);\">Young people up to 25 years who are members of an eligible Yorkshire Club (see below), OR who are individual members of a National Governing Body (see below) AND live in Yorkshire.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tGrants are to be used to improve a physical and\/or technical skill in any recognised outdoor pursuit. &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tUp to 50% of the total cost is available, with a maximum grant of \u00a3300. &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<strong>Eligible Clubs and National Governing Bodies are<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tYorkshire Orienteering Clubs affiliated to the British Orienteering Federation<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tYorkshire Mountaineering Clubs affiliated to the British Mountaineering Council<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"color: rgb(255, 0, 0);\">Yorkshire Fell Running Clubs affiliated to the FRA or UK Athletics (North of England AA)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tYorkshire Scout or Girl Guide Groups affiliated to the Scout Association<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\tAs you will see it is quite likely that Dark Peak will have younger members who could qualify.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<br \/>\n\tFurther details and application forms can be found at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jackbloor.co.uk\">JB website<\/a><br \/>\n\t&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/uploads\/ckeditor\/picture\/data\/41\/content_2012-JBF-Flier.jpg\" style=\"width: 566px; height: 800px;\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s a bit out of our area, so doesn&#8217;t appear on our calendar (and it clashes with Burbage), but many of you will already be aware of the Jack Bloor races up on Ilkley Moor.
