The whisky (and other treats\u2026) are out on the moors waiting to be discovered.<\/p>\n

Will anyone come close to Neil\u2019s 2023 achievement of finding the hidden treasure within hours of the challenge being published?<\/p>\n

It should be fairly self-explanatory\u2026 Identify the grid squares for the 10 small maps (A-J). Many are in familiar DPFR territory, but a few may require you to abandon the Dark Side (albeit temporarily) and \u201csee the light\u201d.<\/p>\n

Fill the ten 4 digit grid square numbers into the table. Ideally in the right place\u2026<\/p>\n

Transpose the 10 digits annotated with lower case letters (a-j) into the lower table and lo and behold you should have 10 figure grid reference for the hidden<\/p>\n

This should take you to a fine spot at the eastern end of a crag in the heart of classic DPFR territory. (If you also a manage to tick one of the crag\u2019s classic hard boulder problems then reward yourself with an extra wee dram.)<\/p>\n
