Pendle Cloughs \u2013 The 3rd of the 6 English Championship races. Fin Grant was 2nd<\/sup> (and 1st<\/sup> MU23) and now heads the championship table but has Ben Rothery lurking down in 6th<\/sup> place having only run in 2 of the 3 races to date. Other outstanding performances include Anna Watkinson-Powell\u2019s 6th<\/sup> place in the women\u2019s race, Liz Batt 1st<\/sup> W55, Jane Crowson 1st<\/sup> W60, John Hunt 2nd<\/sup> M55, Joe Blackett 3rd<\/sup> M60 and Keith Holmes 3rd<\/sup> M70. Liz Batt and Jane Crowson head the championship tables in their respective age categories. In the English Championship the team standings are:<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s open 2nd<\/sup>, 2 points behind Keswick.<\/p>\n

M40 5th<\/sup>, 2 points behind Todmorden in 3rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

M50 2nd<\/sup>, well behind runaway leaders Calder Valley.<\/p>\n

M60 1st<\/sup> and beginning to look uncatchable!<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s open 3rd<\/sup>, 1 point behind 2nd<\/sup> placed Keswick.<\/p>\n

W40 2nd<\/sup>, a point ahead or 3rd<\/sup> placed Todmorden.<\/p>\n

W50 2nd<\/sup> despite not having sufficient counters at Lad\u2019s Leap.<\/p>\n
